Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Welcome to Curious Bee Nature Club! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the ground rules for using our website and subscribing to our monthly letter-adventure. By visiting the site or subscribing, you agree to them. If something here doesn’t work for you, please email us before subscribing.
“You” means the adult (parent, guardian or gift-giver) who uses the site or buys a subscription. You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe.
What the Club offers
Curious Bee Nature Club is a monthly letter adventure for K–3rd grade kids: a letter from The Curious Bee, hands-on nature activities, and other fun, age-appropriate learning materials, delivered by mail. Letter contents may change from month to month.
Plans, pricing and billing
You can choose one of three plans. All prices are in US dollars:
- Monthly: $16.00 per month.
- 6 Months: $86.40 every 6 months (a 10% discount compared with paying monthly).
- Annual (prepaid): $163.20 per year (a 15% discount compared with paying monthly).
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method the price shown at checkout, including any discount code you applied, now and on each renewal. Discount codes accepted at checkout may have conditions shown with the code.
If a payment fails, we or Stripe may retry it or contact you, and we may pause or end the subscription if it can’t be completed.
If we ever change our prices, we will tell you in advance, and the new price applies only to renewals after that notice.
Auto-renewal and cancelling
All plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly, every 6 months, or yearly) until you cancel, at the then-current price for your plan.
You can cancel renewal anytime by emailing us at mrsdenise@curiousbeenatureclub.com. Please include the name and email address used at checkout. Cancellation stops future renewals. You do not need to give a reason. Please email us before your renewal date so you are not charged for the next period.
After you cancel, you keep access to what you’ve already paid for. Any letters for the period already paid will still be mailed unless we agree otherwise.
Shipping and delivery
We currently mail letters to addresses in the United States only.
Letters are mailed on the 15th of each month and can take up to 2 weeks to arrive, depending on US Postal Service delays. Sign up by the end of the month to receive the following month’s letter.
Please make sure your shipping name and address are correct. For gifts, you can enter a different shipping name and address at checkout. If you move or need to correct an address, email us as soon as you can; we can’t be responsible for letters sent to an address you gave us in error.
Postal delivery is outside our control. If a letter hasn’t arrived or arrives damaged, please email us and we’ll work with you to make it right.
Refunds
We want you and your Nature Explorer to be happy. Refund requests are reviewed case by case. If you’re not satisfied, or something went wrong with a charge or delivery, please email us at mrsdenise@curiousbeenatureclub.com and tell us what happened, and we’ll do our best to work it out fairly.
Using the website
Please use the site only for lawful, personal purposes. Don’t try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or the Club’s systems, copy or scrape it in bulk, or use it to send spam or harmful content. Please provide accurate information when you subscribe.
We may suspend or end a subscription or access to the site if these Terms are broken or the site is misused.
Our content and brand
The Club’s name, The Curious Bee character and logo, letters, activities, illustrations, photos and website content belong to Curious Bee Nature Club or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-commercial license to enjoy the letters and activities with your family. Please don’t copy, resell, publish or distribute our materials, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.
Outdoor activities and safety
Our letters invite kids to explore nature, which is wonderful and also comes with real-world risks.
- An adult should supervise children during all activities and decide whether each activity is appropriate for their child, home and surroundings.
- Check for allergies and sensitivities (for example to bees, insects, pollen, plants or craft materials), and use common sense around water, weather, wildlife, plants, tools and small parts.
- Our materials are for fun and education. They are not medical, safety or professional advice, and we make no guarantees about specific learning outcomes.
- By taking part, you accept responsibility for your child’s participation and any risks that come with outdoor activities.
Disclaimers
The website and our materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t promise the site will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Curious Bee Nature Club and the people behind it won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for injuries or losses arising from activities done with our materials. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Club or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places don’t allow certain limits, so some of this may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under law that can’t be waived.
Your responsibility
You agree to be responsible for your use of the site and our materials, including supervising your child, and to cover claims arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the Club operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please email us first. Most things can be sorted out with a friendly conversation. If we can’t resolve it, disputes will be handled in the courts located in that state.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are significant we will notify subscribers by email. Continuing to use the site or your subscription after a change means you accept the updated Terms. This version was last updated on October 15, 2026.
